I’ve been putting off trying out Twitter for a while now.  My days are usually busy enough.  But last night I took the plunge and have had a great experience.  Here’s what I like about it:

• Information Sharing.  The professionals I’ve networked with post links to helpful resources and other webpages of interest, many more than I could find by myself.  I also share websites and other useful information I find.
• Community.  It’s great to feel connected with other professionals in web development.
• Networking.  Build your own network of friends.  Get your message out.
• Immediacy.  Helps me stay up to date in web development in real time.
